This study aims to analyze mosque fundraising management in building public trust through tangible social contributions at Kapal Munzalan Mosque in Kutai Kartanegara. The study is motivated by the declining level of public trust in certain social and religious institutions, while Kapal Munzalan Mosque has demonstrated a high level of community participation in supporting its programs. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that public trust in mosque fundraising is established through tangible contributions, program transparency, and the direct impact of social activities that can be observed and experienced by the community. The prompt implementation of programs is an important factor in increasing people’s motivation to donate, as donors perceive that the funds they contribute are genuinely utilized for social purposes and the welfare of the Muslim community. Furthermore, the mosque’s positive image as a trustworthy, caring, and community-oriented institution strengthens donor loyalty and participation. This study demonstrates that successful fundraising is influenced not only by fundraising strategies but also by the mosque’s ability to build social trust and social capital through emotional relationships, social services, and tangible benefits for the community. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for developing a more humanistic, participatory, and public trust-based model of mosque fundraising
